The Boy With The Arab Strap

My 15 year old cousin’s online away message says, “Color my life with the chaos of trouble.” I immediately recognized that line because it’s from my favorite Belle & Sebastian song, The Boy With The Arab Strap. This is amusing to me because when I was his age, this was considered new indie music. Now, this is part of an older generation of music. I guess this what Belle & Sebastian is to him, like what the Smiths was to me. This makes me feel old, but I have to admit that my little cousin has good music taste.
